Ordinary – Daily Prompt


I have hair.

a face.

 I’m not all about that bass 

I graduated art school,

smoked in the bathrooms,

boys always like, “Why She got Tiny Boobs?”

My appearance is meek,

Seriously, what the hell is fleek?

my son still pees on my sheets,

 I haven’t slept in weeks.

At least I’m ordinary.

often very hurried,

my mind— snow flurries of worries

Thus, the stampede of speed

When I ran into you

I knew it was true

   — Screw the outside views—

My tattoos outlined your bedside

in no time; How sublime

that my ordinary design

amplified your

country-wide
